The Founder of Twist
The organization opened its doors in June 2012. To date we currently have premises in Galway City, Athlone, Sligo, Roscommon and Tuam and on average we are feeding and estimated 300 people daily between all locations and numbers are growing.
The Soup Kitchen opens Monday to Saturday and provides a dry, safe place for people to come and have a hot meal, enjoy the company of others or have a hot beverage at no charge.
The aim of “Twist” is to provide hot food to anybody that needs it regardless of age, race, gender or circumstances.
